Twitter Mercilessly Mocks Sean Hannity For Whining About Onion Article

Sean Hannity proved with his Seth Rich ?investigation? that he can?t handle the truth. Now he?s showing he can?t take a joke, either.

On Thursday, Hannity tweeted his displeasure of a May 18 article in The Onion headlined, ?Hundreds Of Miniature Sean Hannitys Burst From Roger Ailes? Corpse.?

The offended Hannity tarred not just the Onion, but also ?the left? in general.

Hannity?s tweet did receive some sympathetic remarks. But many Twitter users felt Hannity was reacting exactly like the sort of butt-hurt ?snowflake? that he and other right-wingers claim to detest.

Others pointed to a double standard, noting how some conservatives behaved when Barack Obama was president.

Some pondered possible punishments for The Onion.

Others defended Hannity, proclaiming he would never do the things to Roger Ailes described in the article.

At least one person thought it was hilarious that Hannity was ignoring internet rule number one: Don?t feed the trolls.

And a few people thought further investigation was needed.

Hoda Kotb Outlines Her Hopes For Daughter In Sweet Letter

Hoda Kotb has seemed positively over the moon since announcing her adoption of a baby girl in February. The 52-year-old host called motherhood ?beyond a dream? when she returned to Today in April after her maternity leave.

Now she?s written a sweet letter on the Today website to her daughter, Haley Joy, about what she hopes the future has in store for her. The letter includes ?Some thoughts about the perfectly put-together you? and is structured by body part, with Hoda hoping her daughter will ?listen? to her heart, and use her eyes ?to see the good in people and each day.?

A post shared by Hoda Kotb (@hodakotb) on

Kotb also writes,?Your hands: Lend them and hold mine whenever you need to. Your belly: It will get tickled a lot by the pompoms I?ll be shaking for you constantly. Your brain: No one cares what it weighs or if another brain ?wore it better? so value it and share the best of it.?

The letter is part of Today?s ?Love Your Body? series, which has inspired other touching letters from mothers of daughters, including one from Savannah Guthrie to her daughter Vale and from Jenna Hager Bush to her daughters, Mila and Poppy.

In her letter, Hager points out that while she loves looking at her beautiful daughters, she knows they will face challenges as they grow older.

She writes, ?But, my darling girls, that purity and light I see in your eyes could one day be shattered by our world. You will see images on TV and in movies and magazines to which you will inevitably compare yourself. And you will feel that you come up short. I know that I did.?

Ultimately, Hager hopes that she can instill values in her daughters that will help them value themselves for more than how they look.

Hoda seems to feel the same when she writes to Haley Joy: ?Your skin: Strive to be comfortable in it your whole life.?

Lawrence O’Donnell Says He’s Staying At MSNBC

Lawrence O?Donnell told audiences Wednesday that he will be staying at MSNBC for ?the next couple of years,? ending weeks of speculation about the longtime host?s future at the network.

Last month, sources told Yashar Ali in an article for HuffPost that network executives had not been in touch with the ?Last Word? host as his contract neared its expiration. The lack of negotiation with a highly rated anchor like O?Donnell was considered unusual, as competing networks could lure talent away with counter-offers.

O?Donnell put those rumors to rest, addressing his future at the network both on the air and on Twitter.

?I will be sitting right here talking about the James Comey hearing and everything else that happens next week and everything that happens for the next couple of years,? O?Donnell said.

O?Donnell, who has a 10 p.m. prime-time slot, brings in the second-highest ratings for MSNBC, after Rachel Maddow. He?s been on the network since its inception and has hosted ?The Last Word? since 2010.

A vocal opponent of President Donald Trump for years, O?Donnell often used his airtime to address public Twitter feuds he had with the former ?Celebrity Apprentice? host. Trump has called for NBC to fire O?Donnell and threatened to sue him for questioning his wealth. But the MSNBC host has continued to rail against the president night after night, recently calling him ?the laziest, most ignorant president in history.?

MSNBC did not immediately respond to requests for comment late Wednesday.
